About

Dr Suresh Chandra Vatsyayan is a renowned Hindi poet. He was born on Feb 6th 1934, Pasrur, Distt. Sialkot (Now Pakistan).

As a student: Front rank positions in studies, elocution, youth leadership as President of prestigious confederation of College Students Unions of Punjab, leader of Punjab Students Goodwill Mission to Jammu and Kashmir (1954), Monitor of the Punjab Youth contingent for Bhoodan Yojna (1954), editor of the quarterly Hindi magazine etc. etc., merited twice the College – Roll of Honour, the highest honour conferred by Govt. Post Graduate College, Ludhiana. As a Teacher : Post Graduate College Teacher in Hindi and Principal of various Govt. Colleges in Punjab (1955-1992), torchbearer of the family tradition of serving the national and global cause of Indian education with emphasis on the orient in general and redemption of Sanskrit-Hindi-Punjabi and also the languages of the third world from the imperialistic and impervious yoke of English and complexes of Anglic superiority in particular.
